Why Actors should stay actors: Scarlet Johansson

Just because one may be multi-talented doesn't mean that we, the public, want to accept all your talents. Scarlet Johansson is a pretty girl with skills and has played characters in a few of my favorite movies (Ghost World, Lost in Translation). I have wrote on here before about how she has a nice voice, but this video has put a stamp on why it is so difficult for actors to cross over into music.

Even with David Bowie supporting her with background vocals in Falling Down, it takes more than praise from credited artists to make it as a legit and respected singer. The video shows her feeling isolated amongst her 'glamour.' If that is all she has to cry about, then the public can not relate to it. We have real issues like gas prices rising, paying off credit card debt, and other middle American things. Although the video is true to Scarlet as she can relate, I don't feel others can relate to her.
