My guilty online pleasure is checking out perezhilton.com not only because he has hilarious celebrity gossip, but because he manages to find some good (and not so good) indie bands that may hold my attention for a few seconds.
The most recent band is called El Madmo. It is a side project of Norah Jones. I know when you think of her, you think of falling asleep, but it's not bad rock n roll. It's kinda chill. Album is out in May. I like.

when 60 minutes interviewed her last year i saw this alter ego band. She also sings occasionally in a country band(forgot name).she stated she missed texas while livin in new york. cool sexy voice is finally having fun! Roots
