Scott Weiland Going to Jail!

"Former Verlvet Revolver singer, Scott Weiland , has just been sentenced to jail following a DUI arrest in November 2007.

Weiland was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior conviction. When he failed sobriety tests, Weiland then refused to take a blood or urine test. He was booked last November and released on a $40k bail.

Weiland must now serve 192 hours in county jail. That translates to 8 days.

He will have until Wednesday, May 28th to serve the sentence.

He must also complete an 18-month alcohol program and will be put on a 4 year summary probation.

Weiland also have to pay around $2,000 in fines.

If only he were more famous, he would have only spent less than one day in jail!"
